**Hey everyone! It’s so great to be back and writing – enjoy today’s entry for FFfAW!**
He watched the boys for a few seconds. Tossing about a football, they seemed blissfully unaware of his presence.
One of them would do just fine, he thought to himself, smiling slightly. They were about ten years of age, perfect. Slowly, he let his gaze travel away and turned towards the park. A beautifully sunny day, he thought. A perfect day for such a wonderful little game. Strolling about for another half hour, just to kill the time, he returned when they were just packing up. Wildly running about, the little boys grabbed the shoes and bags, and headed home.
Just one of the boys was slower than the rest. Perfect again, he thought, slowly approaching him. Everyone else was gone. Calmly wrapping his arm around the boy’s neck, he flicked his knife in the lad’s face.
“Don’t make a sound and I won’t hurt you,” he whispered. The boy whimpered, but kept silent. Smiling to himself again, he took him in broad daylight, unaware of the frightened eyes of a little girl following them and memorizing the license plate.

Excellent writing. Nasty character but loved the last line of hope at the end.
